Olio di Oliva Extra Vergine del Chianti Classico DOP
The benchmark for olive oil on the world scene is Tuscany
and certainly this is a product of excellence, guaranteed by the DOP governmental
seal.
The oil is intensely spicy with artichoke and fruit aromas,
with a peppery note on the finish.
This is unbeatable on raw vegetables and grilled meat.

„I Vini di VERONELLI 2004“:
„This small Chianti Classico estate was one of the most pleasant
surprises of my tasting at the Consorzio del Marchio Storicho this year.
Several are the wines, all are well made with a distinctive personality.
Let’s hope other producers will follow their examples - it’s
not only with enormous resources that good wines are made.“
GAMBERO ROSSO „Vini d’Italia 2004“:
2 red glasses for 2000 Chianti Classico Riserva, 2001 Chianti Classico
and 2000 ISPOLAIA Barrique. „A good affirmation for Fattoria ISPOLI
- 3 wines in the final degustation for the 3 glasses.“
Luca Maroni: „Guida dei Vini Italiani 2003“:
„Convincing is the 2000 Chianti Classico, richer than most in its
intensity of black cherry and in its bouquet. More than very good is the
Podere ISPOLI for its freshness and softness of fruit. Definitely fit
for the Guide of the Best Wines of Italy is the 1999 ISPOLAIA Barrique:
An encounter of real pleasure, compliments."
And in the 2004 issue writes Luca Maroni:
„A good 2001 Chianti Classico, a 2000 Chianti Classico Riserva fit
for the Guide of the Best Wines of Italy“
German author Bernd Kreis: „500 wines below 10 EUR 2004“:
Top-recommendation for 2002 Chianti Classico in the category „The
Best Wines“.
German winemagazine „Weinwelt“ 1/2004 about 2000 Riserva:
„International styled with extremely concentrated fruit and spicy
oak, it nearly seems to be too much; but: great potential.“
German winemagazine „Selection“ 2/2004
2002 ISPOLI Chianti Classico: Best wine from Italy in the TOPselect Redwine
Competition.
